Zane Talkington discovered her passion for helping others through story telling at the age of 17, when she executed a compelling performance retelling the true story of her father's battle with dark thoughts in the Emmy Award Winning Documentary, Project: Shattered Silence. Since then, Zane has created multiple motivational social media outlets, providing people with daily inspiration, emotional boosts, and mental health support including her page, The Excelsior Project.
An advocate for Suicide Awareness, Zane’s goal is to help those who are experiencing dark and/or negative thoughts, into becoming the "navigator" and “observer” of their own thoughts - as opposed to being the “reactor” to said thoughts - by not giving them power that could potentially and ultimately lead to the always devastating and unnecessary outcome: suicide. Zane teaches the importance of self-love, and she specializes in helping her clients overcome any emotional/mental blocks that are preventing them from reaching their full potential. A working actor herself, Zane specializes in aiding those with artistic ambitions who are currently struggling to find the motivation to take the first step in achieving their goals. Through coaching her clients, she is intentional in helping start from a simple yet realistic place, the powerfully positive task of thought control.
